A graveside service will be held at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 1:00 P.M.A visitation will be held at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Bro. Jason Roberts will be officiating the service.
All those wishing to attend the service are welcome.Due to Covid-19, the use of face masks and social distancing is strongly encouraged.
George was born on September 9, 1948, in Montezuma, Georgia to the late George Robert Hall, Sr. and Sara Hall Beard.He was employed as a foreman by Bluebird Wonderlodge in Fort Valley for over 24 years.George was a caregiver and a very loving selfless man, always putting others before himself. His family called him a "True Warrior". He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and hunter. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Charlotte Hall of Montezuma; two children: Kevin Hall and wife, Travelle, of Byron, Georgia, and Debee Cook and husband, Ben of Forsyth, Georgia; a brother, Richard Hall, of Oglethorpe, Georgia; and four sisters: Windy Nelson, Brenda Lamberth, Carol Teal, and Linda Byers. Also, surviving are six grandchildren: Preston Cook and wife Ciara, Morgan Cook, Lesley Arnold, Blaine Arnold, Samantha Dover, and Jonathon Hughes.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Eugene Hall.
