General "G.C" Hill

Mr. General “G.C.” Hill, Jr., age 88, of Garden Valley, GA, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Taylor County Health and Rehabilitation in Butler, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Garden Valley, GA.

G.C. was born in Macon County, GA to the late General C. Hill, Sr. and Lucille Jolly Hill. G.C. was a farmer and worked for the late Melvin and Voncile Hill. G.C. served his country in the Army National Guard.

G.C. is survived  by his six siblings, Tommy Hill (Betsy) of Ellaville, GA, Sara Griffin of Andersonville, GA, Frank Hill (Lois) of Reynolds, GA, Betty Jean Griffin of Warner Robins, GA, Eddie Hill of Andersonville, GA and Susan Hill of Kathleen, GA. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
