Gayle Mathis Fokes

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2015 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, GA.
Mrs. Fokes was born July 20, 1946 in Montezuma, GA to the late Robert Mathis and Jessie Mae Ellis Mathis.
Mrs. Fokes is survived by her husband, Lewis Fokes of Buena Vista, GA; her son, Eddie Liggin of Ellaville, GA; her grandson, Trey Liggin of Perry, Ga; and her nephew, Dennis Layson of Bowling Green, KY. She also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends.
