FORT VALLEY, GEORGIA - Frances Harrelson Hobbs, 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, after an extended illness. Burial was  private.

Born in McRae to the late Lewis and Mary Lizzie Brooks Harrelson, Mrs. Hobbs was a homemaker and member of Whitewater Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking them shopping, usually to Walmart, and going out to eat with them.

Survivors include her husband of over 40 years, Louie Hobbs; her children, Dave Goodwin (Cathy) and Dawn Lewis (Barry); step sons, Darrell Hobbs and Rodney Hobbs; 5 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Dan Harrelson (Gwen); and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Goodwin, a son, Mark Goodwin, sisters, Ann Fisher and Jean Whittington, and a brother, Billy Harrelson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
