MONTEZUMA, GA - Frances Roberts Hall, age 91 of Montezuma, GA passed away, Thursday evening, June 30, 2011 at her residence.

Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM (Tonight) at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, July 2 at Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Montezuma. Rev. Keith Alderman, Rev. Michael Truitt and Rev. Mike Frazier will officiate.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She will lie in state at the church from 11 AM until the funeral hour on Saturday.

Frances was born on March 21, 1920 in Yatesville, GA to the late John Reeves Roberts and Susie Mitchell Roberts. She was a faithful member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and played the piano for many years. She attended Berry College in Rome, GA. She owned and operated Toy Land and co-owned Dixie Foods Grocery Store in Montezuma.

Survivors include her three daughters, Sara H. Scott and Husband Doug of Cumming, GA, Susan H. Allen and Husband David of Montezuma, GA, Tommie Lee Hall of Montezuma, GA; sister, Beatrice R. Dudley of Grandridge, FL; sister-in-law, Jeanette A. Roberts of Swainsboro, GA; seven grandchildren, Michael Scott, Kevin (Charity) Scott, Chris Scott, Rachael Hart, Jeremy (Kathy) Allen, Josh (Kristen) Allen, Dawn (Lee) Christensen; eleven great grandchildren, Dakota Scott, Savannah Scott, Phoenix Scott, Adrianna Bales, Daniel Scott, Nicholas Allen, Ashley Allen, D.J. Christensen, T.J. Christensen, Michael Christensen, Jakob Hart; many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hall, three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Cedar Valley Baptist Church, c/o Buddy Liggin, 120 South Dooly Street, Montezuma, GA 31063.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma is charge of funeral arrangements.
