Evonne Williams Powell
February 14, 1947 — October 17, 2013
Ms. Powell was born February 14, 1947 in Americus, Georgia to the late Allen Clifton Williams and Mary Louise Lemmond Williams. Blessed with a great sense of humor; she loved to cook and crochet; and also enjoyed woodworking and painting.
Ms. Powell is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Marie Griffin of Birmingham, AL; three sisters and their spouses, Delores (Harold) Phillips of Ellaville, GA, Barbara (Jack) Miner of Eugene, OR, and Cynthia (Jimmy) Ledford of Lake Blackshear, GA; two grandchildren, Summer Ferlisi and Draven Griffin; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other family members.
