Evelyn Smith Hart

Services are scheduled for Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Montezuma United Methodist Church in Montezuma, Georgia and Dr. Tony Caldwell will officiate.
Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, Georgia.
Mrs. Hart was born on September 19, 1938 to the late Lester Earl Smith and late Louise Dixon Smith.
She was a faithful and beloved member of the Montezuma United Methodist Church , former president of the Montezuma Music Lovers Club and also the Georgia Federation of Music Lovers Club.She graduated from Montezuma High School and Marsh Business College and was previously employed by John T. McKenzie.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Kathleen Smith of Ellaville, Georgia; three nieces: Sandra Smith of Savannah, Georgia, Lindsey and Fred Shott of Gulf Breeze, Florida, and Lanie Gibbs of Savannah, Georgia, and a nephew, Leslie and Kathy Smith of Warner Robins, Georgia.Also surviving is a great-niece, Kayla and Ty Barrett of Ellaville, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon Eugene Hart and her brother, Tommy Lester Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to the Montezuma United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 159, Montezuma, Georgia 31063.
