Eugene Layfield

Mr. Layfield was born September 23, 1932 in Taylor County, Georgia to the late Monroe Layfield and Wafe Wisham Layfield. He was a member of Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, enjoyed fox hunting, fishing, and loved dogs. He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Layfield.
Mr. Layfield is survived by his wife, Lois Layfield of Oglethorpe, GA, and four sons: David E. (Mary Louellen) Layfield of Oglethorpe, GA, William F. (Jane) Layfield of Atlanta, GA, Gregory K. (Paula) Layfield of Macon, GA, and Mark S. (Tina) Layfield of Macon, GA. He also leaves behind a sister, Edna Kelley of Columbus, GA, six grandchildren: Stephanie (Richard) Welling of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Layfield of Atlanta, GA, William (Nicole) Layfield of Asheville, NC, Bradley Layfield of Seattle, WA, Addison (Caitlin) Layfield of Savannah, GA, and Garrett Layfield of Macon, GA; and two great-grandchildren: Kaitlin and Brooks Welling of Atlanta, GA.
