Estell Kay Fowler, age 94, of Montezuma, GA passed away Wednesday night, May 6, 2009 at The Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11 at Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Montezuma with Rev. Michael Truitt officiating. Burial will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma, GA
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.
She was born on January 14, 1915 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Lee Kay and Carrie Lou James Kay. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church. She was a fine Christian lady who had a long happy life.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Carroll of Montezuma, GA; sister, Annie Bell Williams of Eufaula, AL; brother-in-law, George Fowler of Montezuma, GA; two grandchildren, Jamie (Lesley) Carroll of Atlanta, GA and Kara Lee Carroll of Cordele, GA; three great grandchildren, Charles Fowler Carroll, John Blaxton Carroll and Elizabeth Pierce Carroll. Also numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Baptist Church or to your favorite charity.
