Erma Jean Ray, age 72, of Vienna, GA passed away, Friday, April 10, 2009 in Cordele, GA.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 PM. Sunday, April 12, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services were held at 3 PM. Monday, April 13, at the Marshallville Baptist Church with Rev. Sidney Jones and Rev. Nick Randall officiating. Interment followed in Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylor County, GA.

Survivors include her husband, Rufus Alton Ray of Vienna, GA; two daughters, Rebecca (Ernie) Foster of Vienna, GA and Jannace Smith of Vienna, GA; two sons, Winfred (Donna) Ray of Arabi, GA and Wallace (Anita) Ray of Eufaula, AL; sister, Betty (Earl) Bloodsworth of Thomaston, GA; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorials may be made to Crisp Regional Hospice, 910 N. 5th Street, Cordele, GA 31015.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma was is in charge of arrangements.
