Elsie Marie Yoder

December 14, 1928 — October 19, 2011

MONTEZUMA, GA - Mrs. Elsie Marie Yoder, age 82, of Shiloh Church Road, Montezuma, GA passed away Wednesday evening, October 19, 2011 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA.

A viewing will be held Saturday, Oct. 22 from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM at the Montezuma Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall. Funeral services will be held at the church on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 10:00 AM. Ministers Daniel Yoder and Stephen Beachy will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Yoder was born on December 14, 1928 in Sugarcreek, OH to the late John D. Mullet and Mary Ann Miller Mullet.She resided in Montezuma for the past 30 years, moving from Crossville, TN and was a faithful member of the Montezuma Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her three step sons, William Yoder and his wife Marilyn of LaRussell, MO, Enos Yoder and his wife Oneta of Barnwell, SC, Sol Yoder Jr. and his wife Georganna of Montezuma, GA; two step daughters, Marie Swartzentruber and her husband Daniel of Montezuma, GA, Irene Weaver and her husband Eli of Greensburg, KY; one step son-in-law, Henry Overholt, Sr. and his wife Matilda of Marshallville, GA; 34 step grandchildren, 149 step great grandchildren and 11 step great great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sol W. Yoder.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma is in charge of funeral arrangements.
