Elner Ann Tucker

December 6, 1941 — September 2, 2009

Mrs. Elner Ann Pyle Tucker, age 67 of Byromville, GA passed away Wednesday September 2, 2009 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA.

Visitation was Saturday, September 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services were Sunday September 6 at 3:00 PM in Byromville Baptist Church with the Rev. AndyBlankenship officiating. Burial followed in Roberts Cemetery in Byromville, GA.
Mrs. Tucker was born December 6, 1941 in Union Parrish LA to the late DossCleveland Pyle and Beatrice Canterbury Pyle. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband Floyd L. Tucker, son and daughter-in -law Lorne and Lisa Tucker of Perry, GA, daughter and son-in-law Pat and Kyle Ellis of Hawkinsville, GA, brothers Jack Cleveland Pyle (Ruby) of Springdale, AR and Luther Dale Pyle of Selsenthal, AR, sisters Pansy Farr of Taylor, AR, Katie Sue Spells(Jimmie) of Taylor, AR and Effie Rose Gathright (Johnny) of Huttig, AR. Grandchildren, Tucker Ellis (Marissa), Amanda Tucker, Kaitlin Ellis Rainey (Dustin) and Lindsay Ann Tucker.Also surviving are two sister-in-laws, Jo Canterbury and Kay Pyle.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Marion Charles Canterbury and Bruce Kemper Pyle and a sister Stella Lou Pyle.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Byromville Baptist Church Youth Fund or to Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of arrangements.
