Mrs. Ellen was born May 31, 1928 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Will G. Satterfield and Amelia Milford Satterfield.She was a faithful member of Ideal Baptist Church.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Ideal Baptist Church with Rev. Sidney Clay officiating. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Lockwood Cemetery in Ideal, Georgia.
Survivors include three sons: John G. and Kay Turner of Ideal, Georgia, Joe Lynn and Charlene Turner of Ideal, Georgia and James Dennis Turner of Ideal, Georgia; five grandchildren: Joey Turner (Mary Margaret), Amanda Pankey (Jerry) Carrie Jordan (Robbie), Kyle Turner, and Katie Turner. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ellen is preceded in death by her parents: Will G. and Amelia Milford Satterfield, her lovinghusband, Joe L. Turner; one son, Carroll Turner, two brothers: Wesley Satterfield and Hillard Satterfield, and two sisters: Lucille Lockerman and Annette Roland.
