COLUMBUS, GA - Mrs. Elizabeth Timberlake, 89, of Columbus, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, GA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Mrs. Timberlake was born November 29, 1926 in Montezuma, GA, to the late Johnny Brown and Sarah Taylor Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Timberlake.
Mrs. Timberlake is survived by her children: Mike (Jan) Timberlake of Rome, GA, Marsha (Neal) Weir of Newnan, GA, and Martha (John) Edmonson of Midland, GA; six grandchildren: Taylor Underwood, Tripp (Laura) Timberlake, Dana (Tom) Ewing, Matt (Katie) Edmonson, Hambrick (Tina) Edmonson, and Clint Edmonson; and six great-grandchildren: Charlie Underwood, James Timberlake, Aubrey Kate Edmonson, Kristen Edmonson, Zach Edmonson, and Alexis Edmonson.
Mrs. Timberlake's family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff members of Covenant Woods and Columbus Hospice; and to Linda Baldwin and Brea Jakes for the care extended to Mrs. Timberlake.
