Eli Kauffman

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Montezuma Mennonite Church in Montezuma, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Montezuma Mennonite Church in Montezuma, Georgia. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Kauffman was born February 10, 1937 to the late Levi D. Kauffman and Mary Miller Kauffman in Princess Anne, VA.He was a farmer by trade.More importantly, he was a minister of the Gospel and Pastor in the Montezuma Mennonite Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Naomi Yoder Kauffman; four sons, Glen (Vonita) Kauffman of Williston, S.C., Marcus (Susan) Kauffman of Chesapeake, VA, Melvern (Patricia) Kauffman of Montezuma, GA, and Micah Kauffman of Montezuma, GA., two daughters, Vivian (Tim) Miller of McKenny, VA., andDeborah (Steve) Yoder, of Glenmont, OH; four brothers, Raymond (Malinda) Kauffman of Virginia Beach, VA, Marvin (Alta) Kauffman of Marshallville, GA, Richard Kauffman of Atlanta, GA. and Larry (Linda) Kauffman of Montezuma, GA, five sisters, Ruth (Melvin) Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Martha Kauffman of Augusta, GA, Drusilla Beiler of Tryon, NC, Mary Lois (Robert) Yoder of Jesup, GA, and Susan ( Alva) Yoder of Virginia Beach, VA and a brother-in-law Melvin R. Yoder.Mr. Kauffman also leaves behind 28 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Rhoda Yoder and Laura Yoder.
