Edith Satterfield Dykes

Visitation was held Sunday, July 5 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Funeral services were held at 4 P.M. Monday, July 6 in the chapel of the funeral home. Dr. Randy Gregg officiated. Burial followed in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma.
Born in Duluth, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Washington Satterfield and Pearl Saine Satterfield. She was a manager at Southern Frozen Foods in Montezuma for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montezuma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Dykes, Jr. and two sons, Thomas J. Dykes III and James R. Dykes III.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Ed Lockeby of Apopka, FL; sister, Voncile Ransom of Montezuma, GA; daughter-in-law, Sharon S. Dykes of DeBary, FL; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also survive.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of funeral arrangements.
