A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Poole officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the graveside service.
Donald was born on July 4, 1957, in Americus, Georgia to Sara Ann King Pierce and the late Charles Melvin Pierce.He was employed as a truck driver.
Survivors include his mother, Sara Ann Pierce of Andersonville, Georgia; two brothers: Lane Pierce of Andersonville, Georgia and Andy Pierce of Albany Georgia.
Donald is preceded in death by his father, Charles Pierce, and a brother, Charles "Terry" Pierce.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contribution to a charity of your choice.
