A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Dooling Baptist Church in Dooling, Georgia. Mr. Jimmy Folds will officiate the service. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
David was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on July 8, 1952 to the late William Wilson Lowery and Joann Crosby Lowery. He graduated from Emory University with a Masters in Neo Natal Nursing and was employed with Phoebe Sumter in Americus, Georgia.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Martha Felker Lowery of Dooling, Georgia; stepson, Bobby Joe Golden and Misty of Lindale, Georgia; sister-in-law, Sandra Lowery of Savannah, Georgia, sister-in law, Evelyn and Jimmy Folds of Tifton, Georgia; brother-in-law, David Felker of Elijay, Georgia and one grandchild, Taurean Golden, along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lowery.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK73123.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia has been entrusted with arrangements for Mr. David Wilson Lowery.
