Daniel "Kim" Woodruff

Mr. Daniel “Kim” Woodruff, age 66, of Cordele, Georgia, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at his residence.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Kim’s life.

The viewing will be on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:30 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM, held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church near Lilly, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Marshallville City Cemetery. Pastor Jimmy Gauthier will officiate the service.

Kim was born on September 3,1956 in Montezuma, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Lee Woodruff and his brother, Jay Woodruff. Kim was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia. Kim worked in construction as a roofer most of his life. Kim was faithful member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Bobbie Beavers Woodruff Williams of Fort Valley, Georgia; his friend, Mrs. Lois Marie Woodruff of Cordele, Georgia; son, Jonathan Shawn Woodruff of Jackson, Georgia and adopted son Daniel Lee Woodruff of Atlanta, Georgia; two step-children, Shane Williams Mitchell and wife Kristen of Port Richey, Florida and Tina Renee Mitchell of Hudson, Florida; two grandchildren, Xander Lee Woodruff of Milford, Pennsylvania and Jackson Kline Woodruff of California; five step grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several cousins.
