BYROMVILLE, GA - Clyde Scott Page, 63, of Byromville, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Flint River Hospital in Montezuma. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Byromville Methodist Church with Rev. Creig Smith officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the memorial service, from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013.
Mr. Page was born July 25, 1949 in Montezuma, Georgia to Marion Peterman Page and the late Clyde K. Page. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Page served as a Tax Assessor in Gwinnett County for 20 years. He attended Byromville United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.Mr. Page was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Killen Page.
Mr. Page is survived by his wife, Candice Page of Byromville, Ga; his mother, Marion Page of Statesboro, Ga; his former wife, Lily Page; his children, Sandy (Steven) Love of Winder, Ga and Jonathan Page of Winder, Ga; a brother, Joel (Kim) Page, of Statesboro, Ga; and two nephews, Joel and Daniel Page of Statesboro, Ga.
