MONTEZUMA, GA - Mr. Clyde Green, 77, of Montezuma, GA, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange, GA. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Mr. Green was born October 5, 1938 in Monroe County, AL, to the late Tumey Green and Esmer Whorley Green. He was a welder for Mulcoa in Andersonville and a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Retta Irby Green.

Mr. Green is survived by his four children: Steven "Flabby" Green of Macon, GA, John Atkins of Warner Robins, GA, Michelle Landreth of Lanett, AL, and Celeste Atkins of Warner Robins, GA; a brother, Jimmy Green of Mexia, AL. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members.
