IDEAL, GA - Clarice Fowler Jinks, age 89 of Ideal, GA, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, GA.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM, Friday, April 29 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 30 at Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Ideal. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Phillip Streetman and Rev. Randy Harris will officiate the services.
Clarice was born on December 4, 1921 in Oglethorpe, GA to the late Arthur Lee Fowler and Vicy Raburn Fowler. She was a homemaker, a member of Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and a mother of three sets of twins.
Survivors include her five children, Harry and Pat Jinks of Ball Ground, GA, Connie Marshall of Oglethorpe, GA, Bonnie and Larry Simmons of Oglethorpe, GA, Cathy and Larry Layfield of Reynolds, GA, Curtis and Patricia Jinks of Ideal, GA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randol Jinks; daughter, Carol Jinks Morrell; son, Larry "Pete" Jinks; sister, Doris Parish and brother, Harold Fowler.
