Clarence Eddie Griffin

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Vienna Church of God, 420 North 6th Street, Vienna, Georgia with military honors provided by the Air Force Honor Guard. Pastor Scott Hatten, Pastor of Vienna Church of God, will be officiating the service.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
The family will also receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the home of Mrs. Wanda Griffin, 745 Drayton Loop, Vienna, Georgia.
Eddie was born November 6, 1954 in Tifton, Georgia to the late Robert Franklin Griffin and Abbie Sue Renfroe Griffin, who still survives. He was a retired welder and pipe fitter with MCI in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Griffin and nephew, Robbie Griffin.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda Griffin of Vienna, Georgia; his mother, Abbie Sue Renfroe Griffin; 3 children, Matthew Edward Griffin (Pamela) of Beaumont, Texas, James Franklin Griffin (Lisa) of Milton, Florida and Tori Jones (Jonathan) of Vienna, Georgia; brother, Robert Franklin Griffin (Linda) of Gulf Breeze, Florida; sister, Lenell Lambert of Bainbridge, Georgia; 9 grandchildren, Joseph Bear Griffin (Heather), Raven Briane Griffin, Kendall Griffin, Diamond Schmitt (Thomas), Kirsten Butler, Abbie Grace Griffin, Shelby Jean Jones, Jonathan Cole Jones and Joseph Matthew Jones; 7 great grandchildren and many other family members also survive.
Donations and flowers may be sent to Watson-Mathews Funeral Home, P.O. Box 283, 322 North Dooly Street, Montezuma, Georgia 30163. Flowers will be taken to the church on the day of the service.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
