Clarence Billy Barfield

Mr. Clarence Billy Barfield, age 80, of Montezuma, GA passed away Tuesday night, October 21, 2008 at the Flint River Community Hospital in Montezuma.

A memorial service will be held at 4 P.M., Friday, Oct. 24 in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma. Rev. Michael Truitt and Rev. Eli Kaufman will officiate.

He was born on April 1, 1928 in Macon County, GA to the late Archie Barfield and Early Collier Barfield. He was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church. He owned and operated Dee Pest Control in Montezuma for many years. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Carole Barfield of Montezuma, GA; one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Craig Foster of Macon, GA; two sisters, Dorothy Morgan of Atlanta, GA and Jeanette Roberts of Florida; one brother, Archie Barfield, Jr. of England and several nieces and nephews.
