Christopher Michael Smith, Sr.

The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM, Friday, August 16, 2013 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. At other times, the family may be contacted at the residence.
A funeral mass will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Montezuma, GA with Father Martino Nguyen Bathong officiating the service.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton, GA with his brother, Father Brian Smith officiating the service.
Mr. Smith was born on March 2, 1950 in Queens, NY to Joseph Charles Smith and Patricia Denman Smith. He was a nurse practioner at the Medical College of Georgia, before his retirement and volunteered with the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen and Health Clinic. He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Denman Smith and three siblings, Gerald Smith, Andrew Smith and Christine Venditti.
