Christopher R. Demundo

November 23, 1975 — April 8, 2009

Christopher R. DeMundo, age 33, of 4093 State Route 26 West, Oglethorpe, GA, a beloved son, grandson, nephew, and friend, who touched the lives of many people, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at his home following an extended illness.

Christopher is survived by his loving parents, Dominic and Carol DeMundo of Oglethorpe, GA; paternal grandfather, Richard Madden Sr. and Chulita Fitch of Tennessee; maternal grandparents, Samuel W. Wilson and Florence Wilson (Deceased) of Mount Holly, NJ; aunts and uncles, Richard Madden Jr. and Aunt Dawn Madden of Astoria, NY, Cathy Patriak and Uncle Mike Patriak of Upstate New York, Sandra and Jimmy Abrams of Ideal, GA, Linda and Richard Cambell of Ideal, GA, Terri Rilling of West Hampton, NJ; cousins, Sandra Santoro, Lisa Bridges, Alyssa Allen, Brooke Bridges, Dakota Bridges and Lilly Ann Davis, Michal Patriak, Melanie Patriak, Mathew Patriak, Richard Madden and Robert Barbarello and beloved grandson of the late Mrs. Eleanor Madden and nephew of the late Steven Bennett Wilson.

Christopher will be greatly missed. His memory will be treasured by his family and friends. He will live in our hearts until he is met again.

A rosary was recited at 6 PM on Monday, April 13, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Family received friends immediately after the rosary until 8 PM.

A funeral mass was held at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 14, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Montezuma. Intermet followed in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma.

Christopher has been placed in the loving care of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma.
