MONTEZUMA, GA - Chris Leroy Miller was born on October 27, 1936, in Holmes County, Ohio, the son of Elmer K. and Mattie Miller. He gained his eternal reward on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Chris was a member of the Clearview Mennonite Church and remained faithful until his death. On April 1, 1956, he married Fannie E. Herschberger in Goshen, Indiana. They lived in Holy Matrimony for 58 years and 28 days.
Surviving along with his wife, Fannie, are seven children; Louella Kay and husband Raymond Yoder of Falkville, Alabama, Merle Dean Miller and wife Thelma of Montezuma, Georgia, Ivan Dale Miller of Abbeville, Georgia, Brandi Dawn and husband Brandon Smith of Howe, Indiana, William Jay Miller of Holland, Michigan, Oran Lee Miller and wife Joy of Middlebury, Indiana and Orval Duane Miller and wife Carol of Bristol, Indiana. One sister, Nancy Mae and husband Milo Mast of Goshen, Indiana; four brothers, Perry Miller and wife Hazel of Lagrange, Indiana, Oren Miller and wife Mary Alice of Bristol, Indiana, Alvin Miller of Canyon Lake, Texas, Elmer Jr. Miller and wife Eddie of Elkhart, Indiana, Marvin Miller and wife Sally of Elkhart, Indiana. Also surviving are twenty-one grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer K. and Mattie Miller.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2014 at Clearview Mennonite Church in Montezuma, GA.
