OGLETHORPE, GA - Mr. Charles "Joe" Joseph Moore, 77, of Oglethorpe, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Sykes, Louisiana on February 10, 1942 to the late Everett Friarson Moore and Jessie Parker Moore. He was a member of Still Water Chapel and employed for many years as a salesman with Lance Company.He loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and riding his tractor.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Stillwater Chapel in Ideal, Georgia with Rev. Roy Peterson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Survivors include his loving wife, Dona Paige Noble of Oglethorpe, Georgia; three children: Dona Lisa Shiver (Bobby) of Ideal, Georgia, Michael J. Moore (Jewell) of Oglethorpe, Georgia , Abby Horner (Mike) of Kissimmee, Florida; three siblings: Jeanie Chambers (Gary) of Clermont, Florida, Richard Moore (Sue) of Dunnellon, Florida, Debbie Clarahan (Tom) of Agency, Iowa; eight grandchildren: Joshua Shiver (Amber), Jacob Shiver (Olivia), Jordon Shiver ( Kristen), Nicole Lucas (Yuri Murillo), Will Lucas, Allisa Stephens (Eric), Lawson Horner and Wesley Derrington (Hayley Wainwright).Seven great-grandchildren: Derek Brewer, Sahara Brewer, Lilly Shiver, Addie Shiver, Luke Murillo, Kenslie Stephens, Caden Stephens and many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Parker.
