Mr. Charles Franklin Holand, Jr., age, 57, better known to his family and friends as Frank Holland of Oglethorpe, GA passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oglethorpe, GA. Rev. Cliff Dennis will be officiating the service.
The family will receive friends after the graveside service.
We encourage everyone attending the graveside service to wear a mask.
Mr. Holland will lie in state at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home on Monday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Mr. Holland was born in Montezuma, GA, October 22, 1964 to the late Charles Franklin Holland and his loving mother, Shirley Bellew Holland, who survives. He was manager of Rubo's Grocery in Montezuma, GA many years and Piggly Wiggly in Unadilla, GA before his passing. He was also the owner of Holland Honey in Oglethorpe, GA. He loved people and would give his shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He was loved by all that knew him and was a member of the Oglethorpe Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Holland, of Oglethorpe, GA and his daughter Brittnea Holland of Norfolk, VA; his mother Shirley Holland of Oglethorpe, GA and special friend Sunnie Davis.
