MONTEZUMA, GA - Mrs. Carolyn Spradley Hutto Epps, age 96, of Montezuma, Georgia entered into rest Wednesday,January 15, 2020.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January, 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Montezuma, Georgia.Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.Burial will follow at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park.

Born October 7, 1923 in Montezuma, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lytle James Spradley and Ethel Davis Spradley.Mrs. Carolyn retired from Forest Mill Manufacturing in Montezuma where she worked as a seamstress.She was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, William "Buddy" Epps of Montezuma; two children: James Hutto (Donna) of Flower Mound, Texas and Faye Vanzant (John) of Thomasville, Georgia; a step-daughter, Dale (Tom) McDonald of Macon, Georgia; a sister, Jeanette Beard of Montezuma, Georgia;one son-in-law, Russell Kitchens of Montezuma; ten grandchildren: Renee Simmons (James), Randall Hutto, Ashley Kelly (Asa), Rachael Hutto, Tim Vanzant (Machelle), James Vanzant, Angela Chihoski (Michael), Andrea Hood (Cham), Chad McDonald (Melody), Pamela Lawson (Chris); eleven great-grandchildren: Randall Hutto, Daisy Hutto, Jeremy Hatcher, Grace Chihoski, Nicholas Chihoski, J.D. Chihoski, Shelley Hood, Richard Hood, Ainsley McDonald, Aiden McDonald and Alexis Lawson. A host of nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.She is preceded in death by her first husband, Woodrow Hutto, her daughter, Dovie Kitchens of Montezuma and five siblings: Mary Eve Watson, Mildred Edwards, Hilda Massey, Jimmy Spradley and Kathleen Spradley.
