MONTEZUMA, GA - Carole Lacy Kelley, age 75 of Montezuma, GA passed away, Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Oaks Nursing and Personal Care Home in Marshallville, GA.

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM, Friday, May 20 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 21 at Montezuma First Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery.

Carole was born on June 26, 1935 in Ashburn, GA to the late William Irvin Lacy and Hannah Priest Lacy. She was a faithful member of Montezuma First Baptist Church and the Edna Reid Sunday School Class. She enjoyed flowers, loved to cook and spend time with her family.She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her loving husband, Frank Kelley of Montezuma, GA; daughter Katrina Kelley Smith and husband, Dr. Kevin Smith of Forsyth, GA; son, Terry Kelley and his wife Cindy of Montezuma, GA; four grandchildren, Lacy Kelley, Blake Kelley, Kyle Smith and Kasey Smith; one brother still survives and two sisters are deceased.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Montezuma First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 357, Montezuma, GA 31063.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.
