Mrs. English was born September 15, 1954 in Pawnee, OK, to Dorothy Brashear and the late Clifford Sorrels. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Anna Sorrels.
Mrs. English is survived by her husband, Joe English of Leslie, GA; her mother, Dorothy Brashear of Stillwater, OK; two sons: Alan Roeder of Camden, GA, and Joe W. English, Jr. of New York, NY; and a daughter, Paula (Michael) Leek of Maryland. She also leaves behind three sisters: Donna Sorrels and Brenda Sorrels, both of Oklahoma, and Tammy Stanley of Sparta, TN; three brothers-in-law: Glenn English of Bonaire, GA, Dan (Wanda) English of Hawkinsville, GA, and Don (Sue) English of North Carolina; and two sisters-in-law: Carla (Ronnie) Patat of Bonaire, GA and Pat English of Houston, TX. Also surviving are two grandsons: Michael and Cade Leek; and a host of nieces and nephews.
