Visitation will held from 6 PM until 8 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, on Monday, January 26, 2015 in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Price and Rev. Johnny Cromer will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA.
Carla was born on June 13, 1957 in Montezuma, GA to the later Lizzie Smith Cromer and J.W. Cromer. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nedra Benford. She sung with the "Living by Grace" gospel group and was a member of the Christian Heritage Worship Center in Oglethorpe, GA.
She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Cromer Carson and her companion, Marvin Singleton of Oglethorpe, GA, April Lund Joiner and her husband Ricky of Oglethorpe, GA; former husband, Billy Lund of Bloomington, Minnesota; four siblings, Bobby Cromer of Uvalda, GA, Marcia Roach and her husbandBob of Bonaire, GA, Renay Bray and her husband Jimmy of Oglethorpe, GA, Roxie Parker and her husband Ronnie of Pitts, GA; three grandchildren, Miranda Cromer, Sierra Cromer and Marquis Carson. A God grandchild, Alaina Parks; Her five best friends, Carolyn Hannor, Charlotte Hortman, Elaine Woodard, Wanda Layfield and Judy Short. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family will accept flowers at the funeral home.
