A private service will be held at a later date.

She was born December 22, 1950 to the late Lemuel Peterson and Marjorie Tarrer Peterson.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Faith Curtis of Butler, Georgia, a sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Virgil Barfield of Ideal, Georgia; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.
