Bobby Wright

Bobby G. Wright, age 90, of Montezuma, Georgia passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Graveside services will be held at Cedar Valley Baptist Church cemetery in Montezuma on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Damon Fountain officiating. His family will receive friends after the service.

He was born on September 20, 1934 to the late Virgil Washington Wright and the late Eunice Daniels Wright. He retired from John Deere after being a mechanic for most of his life- it was said many times that if Bobby Wright couldn`t fix it, it couldn`t be fixed. He was a faithful member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra H. Wright; his granddaughter, Nicole Blair Surles and his great-grandson, Sawyer Surles; his sisters, Virginia Hilton, Mary Lamberth, and Myrtice J. Holloway.

He is survived by his three daughters, Terri Wilt (Ken), Donna Blair (Clay), and Lori Harris; his devoted grandson, Zach Wilt; his granddaughter, Chastity Lairson (Ben); his great-grandchildren, Autumn Lairson, Jeremiah Lairson, Leighton Surles, Ashlynn Morin, and Everlee Surles; his twin brother, Eugene Wright and brother, Virgil Wright; and his sisters, Zelma Perry (Orin), Myrtle Joiner (Ralph), and Eunice Wisham (Benny).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Montezuma, Georgia.
