IDEAL, GA - Mr. John Robert "Bobby" Lamberth, age 74, of Ideal, GA passed away Saturday morning, May 19, 2018 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM on Tuesday, May 22nd at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home, 322 N. Dooly Street in Montezuma, GA.
Graveside services with military honors will follow at 3:00 PM at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery, 405 East Walnut Street in Montezuma, GA. Rev. Phil Byrant will officiate the service.

Mr. Lamberth was born on December 26, 1943 in Montezuma, GA to the late Grover Lamberth and Mary Berlyne Price Lamberth. He graduated from Macon County High School in 1961. He was owner and operator of Bobby's Ideal Foods in Ideal from 1986 to 2006. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970. For his service he received the Bronze Star and the National Defense Medal.
Survivors include his two sons and daughter-in-law, John Marshall Lamberth (Brandie) of Warner Robins, GA and Travis Mosby Adams of Byron, GA; brother, Tony Lamberth of Montezuma, GA; five grandchildren, Cassidy Hope Hayes, John Patton Lamberth, Parker Jameson Lamberth, Travis Mosby Adams, Jr and Avery Rebecca Adams; also survived by a nephew, George Kimball. He is preceded in death by his brother, J.C. Lamberth.
