A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA with Rev. Mark Poole officiating.
Bobby was born on September 22, 1944 to the late Bill and Ethel Denton Jones. He was a retired office manager with Johnson Metal Products in Americus, GA. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his children, Darian Jones, Stacy Bowen and Kim Royal; six grandchildren, Rebekah Bowen, Chloe Wodzinski, Brandon Pitts, Meagan Pitts, Adam Jones and Erik Jones; one great grandchild, Bennett Pitts and a brother-in-law, Gary Slaton.
He was predeceased by a son, Ray Jones and a sister, Billie Slaton.
