A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at The Way Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia.Pastor Mike Britt will officiate the service.The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
Mr. Billy was born December 31, 1944 in Missouri to the late Alfred James Volner and Effie Mae Haggard Volner.He retired from Americus Municipalities.He loved spending time with his family and his hobbies included hunting, fishing, and farming.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Judith Ann Volner, of Dooling, Georgia; three children: Angela Marie Howell (Scott) of Interlochen, FL, Alfred James Volner of Tavares, Florida, and Edward Ray Volner, also of Taveres, Florida; step-daughter, Deborah Lambert of Montezuma, Georgia and step-son Michael Booth of Montezuma, Georgia; a sister, Katie Grider of Welaka, Florida. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Erin Marie Sparkman and Christopher Sparkman of Tavares, Florida; three great-grandchldren: Emmely Dubose, Bella Dubose, and Josh Dubose of Tavares, Florida; two step-grandchildren: Jared Lambert and David Austin Lambert of Jacksonville, Florida and three step-great-grandchildren: Aiden Lambert, Kellian Lambert, and Zander Booth all from Jacksonville, Florida; step-daughter, Kimberly Kicliter (Curtiss) of Ideal, Georgia and three step-grandchildren: Westley Kicliter, Travis Kcliter, and Kaitlin Kicliter.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters.
Donations may be sent in his memory to The Way Baptist Church, 1964 Marshallville Rd., Perry, Georgia 31069.
