OGLETHORPE, GA - Mr. Billy Price, age 67, of Oglethorpe, GA passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at Oglethorpe Baptist Church with interment following at Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors. The Rev. Ralph Price will officiate the services.

Mr. Price was born Jaunuary 15, 1945 in Montezuma to the late Ralph Sanford Price and Jennie Adell Fowler Price. He was a retired, self-employed insurance agent and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was better known as "Pop Pop," and was an avid hunter and enjoyed grilling out with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Price, of Oglethorpe, Ga; three children, Connie Price Albritton of Ellaville, Ga, Clete Price of Atlanta, Ga, and Lance (Nikki) Price of Atlanta, Ga; five brothers, Ralph Price, Sr. (Viola) of Montezuma, Ga, Dick (Dean) Price of Montezuma, Ga, George Cleo Price of Americus, Ga, Burl Price of Columbus, Ga and Mike Price, of Oglethorpe, Ga; four sisters, Adele Crook of Montezuma, Ga, Marzelle Peaster of Montezuma, Ga, Tina (Jack) Beamon of Smithville, Ga, and Elsie (Jim) Chambley of Winterhaven, Fl. Survivors also include his six grandchildren, Morgan Price, Kendall Price, Hannah Price, Brooke Albritton, Madison James, and Presley Price; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
