Betty Jean Williamson

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at Marshallville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Williamson was born June 26, 1932 to the late Roy Pritchett and Kathleen Chambers Pritchett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Roy Pritchett, Jr., and Gaynor Pritchett. Mrs. Williamson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marshallville.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Leroy Williamson, Sr. of Marshallville, GA; two sons and daughters-in-law: Leroy "Buddy" Williamson, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Hahira, GA, and Michael "Maynard" Williamson and his wife Joan of Perry, GA; and three sisters: Juanita (Jerry) Brown of Montezuma, GA, Katherine (E.C.) Mims of Boston, GA, and Barbara (Lee) Squier of Asheville, NC. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Megan Williamson of Jacksonville, FL, Lindsey (Jordan) Kersey of Perry, GA, and Justin (Nikki) Williamson of Greenville, SC; and three great-grandchildren: Dallas Kersey, Sawyer Kate Kersey, and Maddie Williamson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Marshallville, P.O. Box 347, Marshallville, GA 31057.
