IDEAL, GA - Betty Jane Whyde, age 86, of Ideal, GA, formerly of Newark, Ohio, passed away Wednesday night, August 25, 2010 at the Flint River Hospital in Montezuma.

Funeral services will be held at Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home in Newark, OH on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Pastor William Rauch officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Betty was born on January 1, 1924, to Mazy and Samuel A. Pendleton in Plain City, Ohio. Betty was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed needlepoint, cooking and spending time with family.
