Funeral services were held Thursday, April 9, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Montezuma with Dr. Randy Gregg officiating.Interment followed in Felton Cemetery in Montezuma with the following serving as pallbearers, Ron Bonner, Fred Bonner, Frank Bonner, Terrance Carney, Riley O. Nelson, Joseph Carney and Steve Brown.
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 8, from 6 to 8 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Mrs. Bonner was previously employed with Railroad Credit Union in customer service and was also previously employed in real estate.She was a member of Scottish Rite Ladies Auxiliary, the Shrine Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the First Baptist of Columbus, GA..She was also an avid gardener.She was preceded in death by her brother Arthur Terrance Brown, Jr.
Survivors include her husband Dr. Francis W. Bonner, Sr., Columbus, GA, a son John Porch (Janet) of Americus, GA., a daughter Terry Porch McKenzie (Tommy) of Lake Blackshear, GA; three step-sonsRon Bonner,(Pat) Albany, GA, Fred Bonner(Frances) Columbus, GA and Frank Bonner Jr. (Martha)., Columbus, GA. two step daughters, Rene` Robinson (Joe), Columbus, GA. and Amy McCain (Derek), Gulf Breeze, FL. two sisters, Ruth Nelson, Milledgeville, GA. and Lynda Handley (Tommy), Montezuma, GA, Two grandchildren, Phoebe McKenzie, Augusta, GA and Taylor Porch, Daytona Beach, FL.
