OGLETHORPE, GA - Ms. Bess Edwards, age 82, of Oglethorpe, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, Georgia.Bess enjoyed reading and spending time with her friends.She was always quick to greet her friends with a warm smile and open arms.She was an avid Braves fan.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens with Pastor Barbara Koch officiating.

Survivors include her niece, Susan McCann of Humble, Texas; two nephews, Robert Bryan Edwards and Stephen Fredrick Edwards and many friends.She is preceded in death by two brothers: Fred Edwards, Jr. and Robert Sammie Edwards.
