POWDER SPRINGS, GA - Bernard E. Inhulsen, 90, of Powder Springs, died Thursday, 3/30/2017 at The Oaks Nursing & Personal Care Home in Marshallville GA.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2017, at McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. Dave Hinson and Rev. Cindy Blocksidge officiating.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the church.
Bernie was born to Oliver and Ethel Inhulsen in Savannah, GA. He was a graduate of Savannah High School, and The University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration. He retired from Mead Packaging in Atlanta. He was a member of McEachern Memorial U.M.C. in Powder Springs where he sang in the choir and was a member of the Adult Fellowship Sunday School Class.
Survived by two daughters, Karen Pigott (Jack) of Peachtree City, Carla Scoggins (Randy) of Canton; two sons, Michael Inhulsen (Theresa) of Powder Springs, Dr. Christopher Inhulsen, Sr, MD (JoAnn) of Montezuma, GA; one brother, Gerald Inhulsen of Oglethorpe, GA; twelve grandchildren, Christy Inhulsen, Jeanette Long (Bronson), Matthew Inhulsen (Rachel), Katie Pogue (Jared), Dr. Jane Maddox, M.D. (Josh), Dr. Christopher Inhulsen, Jr., M.D. (Jessica), Dr. Cecilia Harvey, Phar M.D. (Matthew), Harriet Bereza (Stephen), J. J. Pigott, Connor Pigott, Dr. Mark Scoggins, D.O., Eric Scoggins (Ashley); sixteen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife, Jane C. Inhulsen; and sister, Hilda Bridges.
