A graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery in Oglethorpe, Georgia with Reverend John Homer officiating.Family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
He was born on June 30, 1944 in Macon, Georgia to the late Wilbur Rodgers and Eva Fowler Rodgers. He attended Pine Level United Methodist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia.Mr. Benny was employed as a teacher with the Worth County Board of Education.
Survivors include his two daughters; Lori Rodgers of Sycamore, Georgia and Nicole Davenport of Albany, Georgia; one sister, Joyce Wynn of Suwanee, Georgia and one grandchild, Emily Rodgers Argroves of Sycamore, Georgia.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tim Rodgers and Wade Rodgers.
Flowers will be accepted.
