Annie Ruth Fountain

September 22, 1941 — December 13, 2009

Mrs. Annie Ruth Hall Fountain, age 68 of Byromville, GA passed away Sunday Dec. 13, 2009 at the Flint River Community Hospital in Montezuma, GA.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 17, 2009 at the Byromville Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Blankenship officiating.

Burial will follow in Swearingen Cemetery.

Mrs. Fountain was born September 22, 1941 in Jacksonville, FL to the late James Rufus Hall and Annie Clyde Johnson Hall. Mrs. Fountain worked for many years as a dietary supervisor for Pinehill Nursing Home in Byromville, GA. She was a member of Byromville Baptist Church and a very active member of the Byromville Woman's Club. Mrs. Fountain was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors are her husband Perry L. "Pete" Fountain, Sr. of Byromville; son Perry L. Fountain Jr. (Terri) of Byromville; daughters Gloria White (Barney Nolan) of Byromville, Tracy Fountain (Edward Burden) of Vienna, GA; brothers William R. "Sonny" Hall (Barbara) of Callahan, FL; Ronald W. "Ronnie" Hall (Angie) of Bryceville, FL; sister Margaret Williams (Donald) of Unadilla, GA; uncle, Gene Johnson (Doris) of Jacksonville, FL; aunt Ophelia Robson of Columbia, SC. Grandchildren, Sonya Thompson (Otis), James Fountain, Cecil Fountain, and Alex Fountain.She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 16, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or to your favorite charity.
