Annie Kate Baker

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, August 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia. Burial will follow at a later date at Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery in Oglethorpe, Georgia.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 PM – 3 PM. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Baker was born on November 15, 1931 in Dooly County, Georgia to the late William Robert Johnson and Francis Mitchell Johnson. Mrs. Baker was also preceded in death by a son, Frank McGullion, two brothers, G.W. Johnson, Robert Johnson and two infant siblings.
She was a cashier with Jones Grocery in Montezuma for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence "Buddy" Baker of Montezuma, Georgia; three children, Albert McGullion of Montezuma, Georgia, Kathy Nolan (Johnny) of Montezuma, Georgia and Scott Baker (Kimberly) of Americus, Georgia; four siblings, Fred Johnson, (Grace) of Vienna, Georgia, Lee Johnson of Buena Vista, Georgia, Jesse Johnson of Warwick, Georgia and Beulah Felker of Beaufort, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Thomas Ray Nolan, Amber Marie Miles and Bridget Nicole Baker; one great grandchild, Logan Baker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
