Anna Geraci Ferrante Katz

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 4, from 6 - 8 PM at the home of Angela F. Lester, 601 Engram Street, Montezuma, GA. The body will lie in state for viewing on Saturday at the funeral home until 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 5, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Gregg officiating. A private family burial service will immediately follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery.
Anna was born in New York City and eventually moved from there to Hopewell, NJ; Athens, GA; Greenville, TN; Elberton, GA; Atlanta, GA, and her final home in Montezuma, GA. She loved to travel, have fun, cook for her family and friends, sew and paint. Anna lived a very full life and happy life during her 97 ½ years. Anna retired from Saks Fifth Avenue in Atlanta before moving to Montezuma, GA.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, John V. Ferrante and Hyman Katz, her mother Mary Geraci, and her son John Donald Ferrante of Madison.
Anna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela F. Lester and her husband, Frank W. Lester, Jr., of Montezuma, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Ferrante and his wife Linda of Acworth, GA; three grandchildren, Deborah A. Lester, Frank W. Lester III and his wife Angela and P. Joseph Ferrante, Jr. and his wife Rayna; four great grandchildren, Elizabeth Lester Hobbs and her husband Adam, Mary Lester, Starr Ferrante Fowler and husband Justin and Samantha Ferrante; two great-great grandchildren, Hannah Ferrante and Joshua Fowler also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 685, Montezuma, GA 31063.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma is in charge of funeral arrangements.
