Ann Elizabeth "Lizzie" Williams Riddle, age 100, of Montezuma, GA passed away Friday morning, April 10, 2009 at The Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, GA
Visitation was from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday, April 12, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM, Monday, April 13, at the First Baptist Church of Montezuma with Rev. Leonard W. Ridings officiating. Interment followed in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma.
Mrs. Riddle was born on February, 27, 1909 in Macon County, GA to the late Charles Fletcher Williams and Mary Ida Tabitha Batton Williams. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Montezuma and the Edna Reid Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Trice Riddle and son, William Harold Riddle, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Riddle (Dean) of Unadilla, GA; daughter-in-law, Carlotta Cochran (Tom) of Fairfax, VA; 6 grandchildren, Merinda Tatum (Scott) of Montezuma, GA, Jim Riddle (Cheryl) of Cumming, GA, Ilah Ann Mascari (Jim) of Asheville, NC, Ansleigh Jones (Jonathon) of Fall Church, VA, Harold Riddle, Jr. (Mary Margaret) of Perry, GA, Havalynn Adams (Tom) of Ashburn, VA; 15 great grandchildren, Jill Coogle (Tom) of Montezuma, GA, Kristin Tatum of Valdosta, GA, Trice, Trent, Tyler and Tanner Riddle of Cumming, GA, Kinsley Mascari of Asheville, NC, Wells, Lawton and Olivia Jones of Falls Church, VA, William, Jackson and Jake Riddle of Perry, GA, Samuel and Abigail Adams of Ashburn, VA; 2 great great grandchildren, Thomas and Kate Coogle of Montezuma, GA and many nieces and nephews.
