ANDERSONVILLE, GA - Ann Robbins, 75, of Andersonville, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her home. Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. Rev. Roy Taylor will officiate the service.
Mrs. Robbins was born November 13, 1939 in Ruskin, FL, to the late Robert Cox and Cassie Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband, James Roy Robbins, Jr., of Andersonville, GA; a daughter, Mary (Duncan) Long of Roberta, GA; a brother, Paul (Evelyn) Cox, Sr. of Oglethorpe, GA; a sister, Betty (Fred) Brandt of Oglethorpe, GA; and three step-children: Marty Robbins of Oglethorpe, GA, Scott Robbins of Burlington, VT, and A.J. Robbins of Warner Robins, GA. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Tiffany (Nathan) Adams of Roberta, GA, Danielle (Chad) Blakey of Hartsville, GA, Felicia (Justin) Sherman of Ft. Valley, GA, and Audra Harshbarger of Byromville, GA; three step-grandchildren: Dylan Robbins, Sarah Robbins, and Alexis Robbins; and eleven great-grandchildren: Seth Adams, Aubrey Adams, Nathan Adams, Jr., Ansley Adams, Ryan Blakey, Jenny Blakey, Marley Blakey, Bubbie Blakey, Shaylee Sherman, Kinsey Sherman, and Carter Cawthon. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
